About Jeremy

I've spent more than 20 years around aviation, most of it built on training and safety.

I started my career as an Air Traffic Controller in the United States Air Force, qualified in both Approach and Tower control. From there, I earned a commission in the United States Navy, where I served as Special Evaluator aboard the EP-3E Aries. During that time, I qualified as a Crew Resource Management Instructor and Primary NATOPS Instructor — training and evaluating aircrew on the Navy's standardized procedures to ensure consistent performance, sound judgment, and strict adherence to safety standards. I spent three years as a military instructor at the Navy's Officer Development School.

In 2021, I moved into the cockpit myself, earning my Private Pilot Certificate, followed by an Instrument Rating and a Commercial Pilot Certificate with Glider, Airplane Single-Engine Land, and Airplane Multi-Engine Land ratings. I'm now a Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) for single-engine airplanes and a Certified Instrument Flight Instructor (CFII).

I also volunteer with the South Carolina Wing of Civil Air Patrol as a Mission Pilot and Check Pilot, and I'm a member of the National Association of Flight Instructors (NAFI) and the Society of Aviation and Flight Educators (SAFE).

I've built my career around teaching people to perform at their best. Now I get to do that in the cockpit, helping pilots fly with skill, judgment, and confidence.
